Pretty serious stuff this with millions of people affected. It's a very persistent and adaptive attack, looks like they are having a hard time controlling it.

My day was great, occurred right after Ofsted walked through the door.

How many students here weren't unable to submit work to make a deadline?

My lectures were totally uneventful as a result.

My chief professor of film was not having a good day as almost everything he does relies on the internet in his seminars and lectures, he was also being observed .

Our helpdesk jobs have mostly been "the system is down" whenever the Internet stops working. What they mean is that the students can't get on YouTube or Facebook.

I work at an FE college so was affected yesterday, very little I could get done work-wise due to this so a waste of nearly a full afternoon.

We had intermittent issues yesterday, and admissions interview week is one of the worst weeks for problems like this! One of the other Colleges use Skype to do some of their interviews and very nearly ended up in a world of the proverbial!

Ah, so that's why I barely got any work done at Uni yesterday morning - internet access is pretty much essential for a web design degree!

I'm not certain that's true at all.

Pretty certain you can design, implement and test whilst not online.
