DDR 3 2400 showing as 1333 even with XMP

Ive installed my DDR3 2400 into my Asus Z97 Pro Gamer but on the main Bios screen it says 1333.

I have been into the advanced settings and it says on the right panel 2400 so its registering it but wont seem to get to 2400 even with the XMP profile activated

am I missing something

So....your DRAM frequency there is showing near-as-damnit 1200, which tallies with 2400MHz RAM (you double that figure to get your actual RAM speed).

It's working fine, in other words

DDR = Double Data Rate . A clue is in the name .
