DDR Revisited

i had 2x512mb of that stuff which cost me £200 and it wouldn't do anymore than 215mhz regardless of settings so you got a good kit there, I swapped it our for some ocz 3200 plats and did 300mhz easy :D

2-2-2-6 2.5v 233mhz is incredibly impressive.

If that's stable I think you've got gods own memory, especially for 2 x 1GB.

They were really, really good 2 x 1gb kits which is why they still sell for good money on the bay (some still go for £80 but mine didn't :()

I had them at 227 @ 2-2-2-6 but I'm sure I had the full 2.75v running through them. Tbh I never tried dropping the voltage to see if they still worked. Corsair said 2.75v for 2-2-2-6 which is what I did.

I should have advertised them as "gods own memory", I might have got more money for them! ;)

Hi,

Still giving 2/2/2/6 at 233.3 though have had a couple of boot issues and they did revert back to 2/3/2/6 at 200mhz then when rebooted again (fitting graphics card) back to 233.3?

I have not taken a note of the settings and to be honest not sure how stable the setting is?

I still have XMS 3500LL, but was thinking of trying to get one of the last better CPU/Mobo combo's which used AGP and DDR 400 for the better parts of this old system LOL :)

Any recommendations of late or the last AGP/DDR 400 mother board and CPU combo's?

Steve

Oi get your own thread! :D

Back on the topic of DDR many thanks for all the helpful replies, I pretty much drifted through the DDR days using CRUCIAL Vanilla or Ballistix so missed out on all the exciting PCB talk!
