DDR3 Sockets

Am I ok to install 3 off 2GB DDR3 modules into any of the 6 available on my Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R?
It's just that there are 3 white sockets and 3 blue.

Has to be the same colour to run in triple channel i believe.

It will have to be installed in the white sockets on the x58a ud3r.

You will need to install the memory in the 2nd, 4th & 6th slot as the the motherboard probably wont boot.

Had this problem on my ud5.
