ddr3 triple channel/dual channel

hi all just wandering if there is much difference between dual and triple channel ddr3 memory, any help would be appreciated.

I would have immagined that it would be faster than dual channel that along with the speed would make it a bomb.

You wouldn't see that much of a difference tbh. 4gb is enough for anyone.

i7 uses triple channel, everything else is dual-channel.

Basically the i7 runs best when you have 3 matching sticks on the motherboard (out of a max possible 6) while everything else works best with a matched pair (out of a max of 4 sticks)
