I’m not going to be replacing my main board anytime soon, so sticking with the AM4 platform. My mrs loves to have 3 million tabs open on chrome so frequently I am using all 16gb of ram.

Can someone please recommend either a 32gb kit or whether I should try to find another 2x8gb to match my Team group kit.

5800x / X570 tomohawk / 16gb Team group ram / 3080

If you prefer the Team RAM, OCUK have an 8Pack kit (2x16) for £60, which is a relatively small premium on the cheapest kit, though with the offers at the moment that's a larger premium than normal.

You could either just remove the old RAM, or try them both together (for 48GB) and see what happens.

The cheapest solution is to train the wife on how to close tabs/windows.
The easiest solution is to just provide more RAM :D

I only casually game nowadays and I’ve lost all interest in overclocking. I reckon the Corsair stuff will be grand.

Well I could see how that 'argument' would go...

A vote for the 8pack memory too, the timings dont appear as fast as the stuff I brought but for the slightly slower timings for £60 (32gb) you cant go wrong. I paid £200 for one kit!

Some battles aren't worth fighting. Personally I would save it for those hard arguments; or start putting the seat down. :D

That 8pack ram is c18? I wouldn't.
