iirc it will be available in 2013, and be mainstream by 2014
however, even if it were released today it would be a fat lot of good, because there wont be any motherboards around that will be supporting it for a long time
when ddr4 comes out, and they want to bring out the step, up, aka ddr5... will they have re-label it super ddr4? since it will conflict with ddr5 in graphics? lol.

Well, even then they'll probably be heavily priced like DDR3 was when it was first released. I can only imagine them being reasonably priced in 2015-2016. So don't expect to have the money for it just yet .
