Dead 2700K Replacement

I'm guessing it was bent motherboard pins? Did you manage to fix it?

Is it even possible to "unbend" the pins on a intel system - the pins are so small, what utensil would you use? Because I'd be weary of bending even more/snapping the pin I'm trying to force back into place lol

I've heard that it is possible, albeit with great difficulty and potential risk of causing more damage..

On the old Pentium P4 sockets (s468's?) I bent the pins on my first ever build but someone managed to unbend with some pillars but the pins on those boards were quite a bit bigger then the newer boards. You could try fixing it with some tweezers or a a jewelers screw drive but I wouldn't hold my breath.

you can straighten them easy if there isn't too many

not sure if asrock will accept an rma for damaged pins but worth asking
