Dead 360 - Time for a PS3 ?

Most you guys slating the ps3 will have one by next year, fact.

Btw, I've got both the 360 and ps3 and wouldn't say one is much better then the other, both are good in different ways but the ps3 slightly edges it for me.

ive taped 3 ps2's together for a different level of awesome, i call it a ps6 and its quite clearly superior to the will, powerful enough to play 3 whole games of re4 at the same time!

Maybe I'm leaning more towards the ps3 because I actually paid the same for both consoles :eek:

Xbox 360 Premium
extra wireless controller
GOW/PGR3/Table Tennis
paid £320 brand new

PS3 UK version
HDMI cable
Motorstorm
paid £320 brand new

I don't even like to think how much I've spend in total on games & consoles etc :/

Thats a nice price for your PS3, is it a competitor? (Are you able to post link)
 
get one shes sweet, get another 360 when ms get of their asses and fix the reliability because when the games for ps3 come ( and they are coming ) you will have a fully operational machine no worries, thing doesn't even break a sweat, 360 has great games but when you have to keep sending the damn things for repair its your games that are gathering dust.
 
MS only take about a week to replace a 360. :D

As long as it's a free repair I couldn't care less if it breaks!

(Aslong as it doesn't break every 3 days) :p

There's a post in this forum atm,by someone who brought a 360 in Dec'06, which broke, sent it back for repair, and now his current one has broke :(

On his 3rd 360 since December, well I'm sorry but that is just unacceptable and I find it really hard to keep quiet when I read so many people justifying the damm thing!!!

The games will come for the PS3, but how the hell can MS sort out the hardware issue? Buy a new machine and hope it's going to last? Throw another £300 down the drain?

What's ironic on this forum is the fact that most people are happy to buy good quality equipment, i.e. Plasmas/LCD's & AV equipment and then go and try to justify a peice of kit as poorly built as a 360 :(

In addition to this most are forgeting or just simply ignoring the fact that the PS3 is only in it's first year. I personally felt that the good games only arrived on the 360 from Sept'06 (with the odd exception) so how about we start judging the PS3's software from Sept '07??

How can anyone is their right mind consider buying a new console after the last one broke after 13 months is beyond me tbh, more money than sense comes to mind....
