I have this monitor also, so expect at some point to have to do this. Can one of you chaps who's done it already post up your monitor disassemble instructions if possible ?.

The replacement diode used mostly over at badcapps is...
STPS40170CT. Is the STPS60170CT OK to use.
The one people are using to replace it is rated about 50v higher so once replaced shouldn't be a problem.
Best to just unsolder the heatsink and attached diodes. I spent ages fiddling around trying to do it without doing that but with no success.
