Hey all...got a problem i need sorting soon please!!

Well ill just get straight to it, the damn thing wont turn on! It goes to boot, fans spin, then all power just stops! the pc turns off, and then starts up again, then dies off...repeat.

I have tried it with no ram in case thatw as the problem, i get a load of beeps, but the same restarting thing still happens.

I have reset the CMOS like 5 times by using a jumper over the two pins, and once by removing the battery. I also used a screwdriver the first time on the pins just to short them out (which i have done before with no problems, so i dont think that could be the problem?)

Is this a common, or even fixable problem? I was overclocking my E6300 a fair bit so im not sure if i did kill it by doing that :(

When it boots then shuts off, there are NO post beeps, unless as i said above, i remove the ram.

Please help ASAP! Thanks, Adam

Well ive had this board since april and only now has it done this problem, this bad. Ive had the boot cycle problem before, but usualy a cmos clear does the trick. I have just taken out the cmos battery and will leave it for a while to see if it makes any difference (lost cause? lol, im desperate!)

Looks like i shall have to get OCUK to replace this mobo then, which i assume they wil do seeing as this is apparently a common problem with these boards.

This happened btw when ram was at a high speed (over 1000mhz... which i just read in that link, causes a problem with C2D and high speed ram... well, should I RMA it or is there anything else i can try?

Edit: Sry. Yes have tried one stick of ram, same problem, same with no GPU, no HDD... have tried everything i can think of to solve this...but it seems like i definately need to RMA this mobo. Ah well, few days with no pc will do me good im sure
