Dead ipod?

Ok i get the feeling that my brand new nano has something terminal.

Basically i turned it on this morning and i could hear the clicks when i pressed the buttons but nothing turned on. Knowing the battery was a bit low yesterday i thought it had just run down, but when i plugged it into my work pc, it registers a usb device connection but again the ipod does nothing. Knowing my colleague has a power socket charger i used that and nothiiiiiing.

I'm clinging onto the hope that its not totally borked as i've added £15 worth of screen protector and vinyl skin which can't be taken off without ruining them

Have tried resetting or restoring the iPod?

The reset fixed it right up, must have just been a screen freeze or something.

No problem. Glad that you've got your problem solved.

I was in a less fortunate situation a couple of months ago when my new nano died and nothing could fix it. I contacted Apple and then, within one week, they collected my player, tested it and sent me back a brand new one!
