Dead memory? (x800gto2)

Looks just like shadows being buggy like they tend to be in BF2. Need a better screenshot to see if that really is a problem.
 
Definately looks like a shadow issue to me. Normally with memory issues you would be getting some nice snow / texture screw ups / possible tearing. Try turning off shadows and see if it goes away.
 
As said, it looks like a problem with Battlefield 2 as opposed to your graphics card. We all know that, no matter how much we love it, Battlefield 2 is about as buggy as an ant hill. :rolleyes:

I would do a reinstall, and I would make sure to patch only with full patches as opposed to the incrimental updates (which cause far more problems than they resolve in the long run.) I would also reinstall display drivers.
