Dead mobo?

I'm putting a rig together out of some old components I had lying around for the spare room, set everything up, it powers up (all fans are operational) however I'm getting no display on the monitor, no beep codes (even if I take the memory out), no activity on the HDD led on the case, nothing on the power led on the case. Dead mobo?

I have a graphics card: Geforce3 ti200 (don't laugh!)

Have you connected the 4pin +12v connector that comes out of the PSU and plugs into the motherboard?

As far as I can recall it doesn't have that connector on the mobo (bought it in 2001):

Just for the record...all the components in the build have been used successfully together a couple of years ago...so there is no issue of compatibility.

Seems like a dead motherboard to me.
