Just build my new PC and my new hard drive seems like it might be DOA.
Upon first startup the hard disk immediately started making this noise. I turned it off and back on and everything seemed fine, HDD was showing up in the BIOS.
Now, on powering on it makes this noise and then either does nothing further (touching the drive I can't feel it vibrating, not making quiet clicking noises as I would expect it to). On occasion it does vibrate and sound fairly normal, but can't still get it to show up in the BIOS any more.
So, is it f0rked?
