dead ram ?

my computer has'nt worked since last weekk ? it was working fine turned it off in the evening tried to turn it back on in the morning and all the fans spun and the vapochill turned on but the system did'nt even post it just sit there with -- error display. untill iwas'nt too bothered because had a new board coming today. now with the new board i am getting similar problem, although arter i hit the power button the rans and vapochill come on but the system restarts after a few seconds and still douse'nt post . i am thinking its ram, any ideas?

Yep tried them both in together and each on there on and still no luck

sorry posted from my phone, didn't realise it posted 3 times. I have it sorted now - both of my geil ram sticks must have given up. I went out and bought a 512mb module to see if it was the ram and now the computer is working fine. Anyone know if i can RMA then even though i bought them off of that auction site and i have no receipt
