Dead Rising on PC?

I heard that many of todays PC are unable to cope with the 'SWARM' techonlogy used in Dead rising i dont know if this is stricly true but obviously if it is, the answer is no :P

Id say a PC port is probably highly unlikely, but there are many rumors flying around, so watch this space i guess.....

I hope that isnt the case, its the one game i am tempted to buy a 360 for right now! I suppose that would make sense though, even if less powerful PC's could scale down the graphics etc if you cant play with 360 quality, there wouldnt be much point in scaling down the crowds! Maybe in a year or so when more PC's are capable for them to make money out of it?

TBH, its not a bad game. However it is very linear, and gets boring very quickly....Lack of stuff to do.

My opnion only, would probably buy it if it came out on PC if i saw in in the bargin bucket for £2.99 :P

I seriously doubt today's PC's are not powerful enough to play Dead Rising, but still I doubt we will see a port. Which is a shame as I would expect 360->PC ports are not that hard to do (the X360 is all DirectX based is it not?)

I think the PC of today has way faster graphics capability than the 360, its just the CPU like 3x 3.2Ghz of the 360 will take some beating atm.

Trouble with PC is not everyone got a high end rig so game developers have to cut things down a little, like with GRAW. I cant even try the cell factor demo cus I dont have a physics card

360 may look quick ATM, but next year it will probably be by inferior to the average PC. The beauty of PC's is they are constantly and regularly improving. So we don't have to rely on our PC hardware lasting 5 years before replacement.

Got cell factor demo working without a physics card by adding EnablePhysX=false switch to the shortcut.

It runs at a high frame rate on 2x 7800's although there are graphics artifacts -looks like it needs tinkering with. :D
