How many vehicles are in the tunnels? I sometimes find my car breaking in the middle of the tunnels with thousands of bloody zombies all around me, needless to say I find it very hard to get back up to the car park to myself a new car :(

there is one car outside in the parking lot and two cars located in the tunnels that work. there is a small map guide on google images, ill get it for you in a bit unless someone beats me.

Cheers guys.. Tunnels??? I will have to do some further investigating... I thought it was sort of a progressive story like Resident Evil but with a bit more fast pace, gore and fun... I am not saying its a bad game but just not what i expected. I am going to have a bit more of a blast tonight and get my levels up then will leave the game for a week or so till i get my LCD... :) At least then i can read the onscreen prompts... :)

yeh you access the underground tunnels/carpark through the outdoor carpark in the outdoor area in the middle of the map. there is an entrance around the walls of the map somewhere. (forgot where)
 
the tunnels are across the park from where you start, but you'll need to get passed those psychos in the jeep to reach it. the first time i played it through i died a few times and got half way through the levels, the second time i finished the main story and got to level 49, and on the 3rd i reached 50. as the dead rising thread on here says, get the mini chainsaws from the clown early in the game together with those books that prolong their life and you will be unstoppable! plus there is a good reward (i won't tell in case you haven't done it yet)

you can pretty much get everywhere in the mall from the start of the game i think, it's just that some areas are tougher than others, north plaza for example, loads of zombies just like the tunnels, and the bits that are guarded by psychos. the story leads you all over eventually.
 
I was also happy to find the antique/curiousity shop early in the game


I got a katana and a battle axe there ..much nicer than a crappy spade
 
The only real weapons i have found are The Hunting knife, the handgun and the sickle everything else is just the baseball bat, 2 x 4, buckets, sledge hammer, lead pipe etc...

Oh is there a way to lure a load of zombies away from somewhere like a door? I find running in with a baseball bat does the job but isnt fool proof...

I'm really getting into this myself. The save feature is a pig. I wish they'd added some sort of check point system for quicksaves.

Here's a couple of good weapons that are easy to find -

The Katana
In the first Plaza, jump onto the landing behind the photography guy upstairs. This is my weapon of choice for clearing out large groups of Zombies.

The SMG gun
There is one on the landing directly above you when you enter first Plaza. Just head to the stairs on your right and jump onto the landing and make your way across.
 
the sickle is my favorite weapon apart from the drill you find in crislips. that thing is amazing. plus you can make it last loads longer with one of the books. also the funny factor is quite high with that weapon :p
