Dead Rising

The zombies with queens are trying to pull them out the back of their head, they make a different noise too.

Best place to get them is in the underground carpark area.

Spot on, run to the car park area; circle in the car outside killing all the zombies then nip out and you should find 3/4 queens (listen for them).

Y A Y

Just got the saint achievement :D :D :D 53/54 saved. Don't think I could have saved Barnaby without losing others.

Grats mate :) And aye, I think the same; I just don't think you can save barnaby without losing others.

Finished with the game for now, or a masochist and fancy the other achivements?

I am on the final boss now !

So hard fighting with no weapons, just bare hands !

Any help/pointers would be great :)

I am on level 40 do u think thats enough.

Thanks Ben

Thanks! I might try a couple, like killing ten commandos or downing the helicopter, but I can't see myself being bothered to run through the whole thing again to pick up the obscure ones like transmissionary.

Give it a few days and I'm sure I'll want to give it a bash though, as I have no other games to play!

He's really easy, beat him on second go (i was on level 50 though, not sure how much difference it'll make) - quite disappointed he wasn't more of a challenge really.

Firstly, keep moving all the time, elkse he'll get you in that devastating sleeper :(

When you're on the same level of the tank as him use the double lariat (spelling????)

When he is on the higher level use the flip kick (quickly press A then X).

I think the final scene in that game is cool as hell :)

For the harder achievements like the one you mentioned i'd use a guide personally, as you have to be in specific places all through the game - even if you follow all the cases and answer his calls you won't get as you have the pursue a few scoops too.

I did it on level 30.

for brock jump off the rotating turrect section of the tank down to the main body and stand near the edge. Brock will jump down to join you. Run towards him and do a jump kick. Time it right and you will kick him as he tries to retreat back to the turret level. Rinse and repeat :)

Your level 40 and having trouble :(

Does it have progressive difficulty? im Level 11 lol

Nope, it gets easier. However, when i was reading about dead rising everyone was having trouble on the final boss (Brock), really don't know why as he's easy.

Tbh, if you die after about lvl 30 playing the case files, then you suck and if you die on lvl 50 then play something else :) I had so many spare items slots on lvl 50 (stock, whatever you call it) that i had 5 adam the clown chainsdaws with all the books (8 slots) a shotgun (don't really need it, but i'll carry it for the heck of it) and a few ojs :). It's overkill basically, but at least i never had to worry about weapons after i beat adam ;)

And mcdaniel, i was catching up with you on gamerscore a few days ago, but not now. You're caning these new games :)

Don't you feel cheap doing it that way, using one move - at least i used a wide selection (2 moves) :)

btw, i didn't fell cheap :)

All done :)

Beat the final boss. Just kept doing the jump kick and soon beat him.

Great game !

Thanks for the help everyone.

Gonna go back another time for all the achivements another time, got Test Drive to play now :D

Also what does that new mode new ? think it was called infinity ?

Thanks Ben

I had trouble with Brock at first. He beat me three times. Think it was because I was trying to do a wide range of moves. Ended up beating him by just doing the one move, the jump kick.

Is this game anything like Resident Evil... i.e. Survival Horror sorta game? Or is it just a simple hack and slash jobbie, where you endlessly press the attack button over and over.

Are there any quiet moments in the game, that give that eerie feeling? where you are wandering round trying to find items, waiting to be pounced on my zombies?

From the reviews I get it as being a hack and slash, but Id like to ask "real" people who have played it... thats where you guys fit in :)

p.s. I've nto got a 360... yet, just considering one.

It's hack-n-slash, but not like your general button masher (i.e. Ninty-Nine Nights). It has a purpose, hundreds of weapons. I spend most of my time weaving between characters... which isn't always easy. EGM reported that upto 800 characters can be onscreen at once.

No, there are no eerie moments ala Resident Evil so if you're looking for a Survival Horror fix you won't get it here (I'd recommend Condemned for it though).

It's not a boring, monotonous game like your regular button masher, you have to rescue people (upto over 50) and take photo's (your character is a photo-journalist). It's brilliant. It's probably worth getting an Xbox360 for, but if not, there are plenty of other great games too.
