Dead Rising

I tried my hand at infinite mode, managed to survive 4 days, there were less than 12 hours to go before I would have hit 5 days and I got a 'disc is unreadable' error :/
 
loving it even more now :) Thought id never get to love this game as much as I am now.

SPOILER... MAYBE?
Took out the 3 snipers, and obviously took their sniper rifles, used those to take out all 3 convicts and stole their truck. ooooohhh I could drive round knocking zombies down in that ALL day.

Does it run out thou? Like weapons do, will the truck blow up at some point

Yub, all vehicles have a limited lifespan depending on how much damage they take. Most of the time they'll die if you crash too much at too quick a speed.

In the maintenance tunnels theres a car and a bike which you can use too in the park or in the tunnels. It's fun in the tunnels but a certain zombie who carry's an explosive cylinder can really hurt your vehicle if you hit too many of them.
 
Yeah I ran past that tunnel the other day, never gone down there though... have to give that a try mes thinks :)

I'm on the mission where you have to collect the bombs whilst carlito the zombie lover is chasing me around.... tell me this is physically possible to do? I've been going mental trying this... must have tried it 56 times now and that carlito KEEPs whacking into my car or throwing granades and finishing me off! I've lost patience with it now and asking for advice on how to do it?

Orignally I didn't have the maintenance key, so had to keep going all the way round to the car park and getting on the bike and then collecting a car down there. I tried with the bike, the car and a micture of both, still I die!

Ive now during the mission collected the maintenace key and gone back to the paradise plaze bogs and saved. Now when I load up Ive only got to pop out the bogs and down the maintenance door to a waiting car. But this car keeps getting blown up? How the hell do you do it?

Oh and does that dude otis have a habit of callign you right during a curious part of a mission :mad:

That mission is quite easy, you just need to know when your vehicle is on it's last legs.

Firstly grab the bike seeing as it's the only thing able to pass through the small gap near concrete barriers at the enterance of the tunnels. With the bike head to the furthest bomb on the map - Do NOT park your bike close to the rear of the truck, park it further away. If Carlito arrives he'll always lob a gren at you and your bike will take splash damage if its near the truck.

Hop on the bike and quickly head to the carpark - because it's such a long journey your bike for the most part won't be able to handle anymore damage, so get to the car park and hop onto a new bike and get the next bomb, then get a new bike and rinse and repeat. Remember to park away from the truck because he'll either ram you or lob a gren as you approach the truck - at least your bike will be out of harms way for you to make a fast escape.

Make sure you've got quite a few health items, and carry some crowd control weps like adam's chainsaws, a katana or a sledgehammer for wiping out a wave of zombehs.
 
Cheers for the help, but I finally did it :)

That was really frustrating, but I actually did what you said anyway, and went back and replaced the bike once or twice as it was not liking all the zombie flatening!

Thank god thats over with... but whats to come I wonder :(

Just a warning is all before the Dons give you a suspension :).

You can edit the swears out before they get here though.
 
I actually found the bomb mission quite easy. I only used the bike to get to the first bomb and the van once i had done the last bomb to get out.

I got rid of carlito early on by chainsawing him in his van. Then ran through the zombies with adams chainsaws.
 
ok really doing my nut in now !!

when i go outside, there are 3 dudes in some sorta car, keep getting shot and die :(

tried hitting the car but didn't do much.

I read you can get in the vans that have the bombs in... but I tried this and it didn't work? I couldn;t get in any of them... so stuck with the car and bike.

Also I haven;t defeated Adam yet, so havent got the chainsaw... gonna have to get that puppy I think... is that indestructable? Cos it seems to be?

You can get past them quite easily by sticking to the perimeter of the leisure park. Alternatively make them crash into a tree and take them out... I used a sniper rifle, but a smg/pistol will do it! Then steal their truck and go for a joyride, that is so much fun :)
 
You cant get in the bomb vans but there is a similar van you can use.

With the right books Adams chainsaws last 27x longer.
