Hand Chainsaws rule...Level 40 here and have been through the game (including overtime) once. Overtime is seriously hard when you mess your saves up and have to start it without weapons

heh yeh exactly why i like em! you can get some good points from them. i got the scythe or whatever its called last night, pretty good for one hit kills. ive yet to get small chainsaws, ive had the normal ones from the hardware store but they dont last very long

any tips on making things last longer? is there anything that can do that?

im finding psychopaths, like the clown, and the second time you have to fight carlito (sp?) really difficult. should i not bother with the case files yet, and level up my character then die and restart *** game with the new stats?

The book I have atm that makes things last longer is a book on Criminology I think. I could be completely wrong though as it would make no sense for that to make an object last longer.

You'll have trouble getting ones like transmissionary and saint without a guide as they are very very challenging themselves and require you do do very specific things throughout the entire game.

You'll need to play it through at least once to level your character up, as the game really is no fun at all once you first play it.

And as ever, if any opf you haven't read my guide on this game, please check it out, as the number of people still not using adams demon chainsaws in this game amazes me.

Read the guide there, shows you how to get the saws to last longer a lot longer !!!!

im going about levelling up first

gonna do the zombie genocide in the underground place first. i tried killing the crazy clown, but no luck. im crap with boss battles.

Probably not a bad idea to do the genocide achievement first, take the katana and as much OJ as you can carry, don't forget to get the maintance key on your first (car) run through the tunnels, as if you kill a car it can save your bacon by getting you into the mall quicker.

You'll level up pretty quickly, when stopping to save don't forget to pick up a fresh katana and as much OJ as you can carry each time. Try and save around every 10k zombie kills.

It takes around 1.75 - 2 (in game) days to do genocide, spend your last 24 hours on the rooftop near the helicopter pad to pick up the "24 hours outdoors" achievement.

Yeah I have noticed this. I read your guide but unfortunately after I had missed Adams thingy, maybe I should just start over now I am a higher level rather than try to finish it now.

Would you suggest that? Just do the first few case missions while levelling up and starting over each time, then once level 50 complete it?

Got this game yesterday, and after finally getting through the first case without dieing and having to start again (5 times it happened, almost gave up), I'm finding the game stupidly hard, i think I'm level 10 atm, and I struglling. Any tips?

give it a bit of time, go and level up in the tunnels, its what im doing, currently got 36,000 zombie kills, almost got the genocide award. really liking it at the moment but as you said its very hard, as you are a lower level, im level 25 and still find the psychos too difficult. :/ maybe im just crap but im gonna stick at it, and reach level 50 then complete the game

I have no idea where the tunnels are or how to get to them. Can i get to them straight away?

Also i always get killed when i try to get to other parts of the mall because some guys on a jeep just run me over.

This game is insanely hard for beginners.

yeh those guys in the jeep are right knobs. the best way to get past them are on a skateboard, and cane it to the parking lot. make sure you dont hit any zombies though or it will break.

here is a map i edited to show the entrance to the carpark, you can get into it by going outside its relitively easy to find.

Once you have these weapons the game is kinda easy.
