Dead Space 1 - free on origin until 8th May

Downloaded, installed and ran it.
Got through the intro and found the guy completely incapable of walking through a doorway (the door after picking up the laser pistol), then realised the character cannot jump.
Uninstalled.
Ah well.
Cheers anyways.
 
I've tried playing this so many times over the years as I love the atmosphere it creates but just cannot get used to the mouse lag. A little better if turned all the way up but still painfull.
Also tried with a controller but Im dyslexic when it comes to using xb360 controllers :(
 
I want to play this but I am a bit of a wuss. Am I going to cack myself with this?

I managed to play Slender a few times and I honestly really did not want to turn around in my chair afterwards :o

This is a well known bug in the game (PC) apparently. I've just encountered the same problem. A quick Google suggests turning on Vsync within the GPU menu in Windows or using Fraps.

It'll make you jump no doubt about it! The atmosphere in this game is top notch!

Must admit been playing a few games on origin lately. Sim City, battlefield 4 now dead space....steam won't get a look-in from me for a few weeks yet
