I hope they finally make this movie !!

I have no idea why of all thing this decided to make an appearance on the web today. Since Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine everyone has asked for a Deadpool movie.

Now after almost two years of rumors, the Deadpool test footage has made its way online. Its mainly CG but you can clearly tell that R.R. is doing the voice for the character and it is so Badass!

the footage is here >removed :( < > HD < (thanks somnambulist)

Isnt that the Deadpool character, he kinds makes light of the most serious of things, and also talking to the reader etc.

That's correct.. He is an inherently annoying "Anti" Hero of sorts. Just forget about the debacle that they turned him into in Origins...

That was pretty much perfect. I wonder why they decided to go CG instead of live action though? Proof of concept, or would the actual release be down the same lines?

Probably cheaper to do in terms of what happens in that clip, not the sort of stuff you'd pay for live action without a film being given the go-ahead.

This was made quite a while back to try and get FOX to realise what a Deadpool movie would be like.

If they can capture what they did in this test footage and apply it to a whole movie, it'll be awesome.

Deadpool is one of my favourite Marvel characters and has soooo much potential!

I made this... :D

This is how "most" directors pitch their idea for the tone and look of their vision.

CG is jsut so far advanced that they can whip this up pretty quickly.

Also, you can even tell it was a pitch as the "Tom" at the end was aimed at one of the Producers at FOX who it was being pitched to.
