Just realised there's no thread on this!

Microsoft are bringing back deal of the week. Gold members only, one game/add-on a week cheaper than usual.

They've started with Braid, discounted to 800MS. Bargain in my opinion, I got my moneys worth easily after paying full price last year. Fantastic game.

Anybody else looking forward to getting some decent games and add-ons cheap? :)
 
I bought it on Monday after waiting for ages for it to come down in price. Loving it so far, the style is incredible and it is extremely clever. Too clever for me in some parts :p

I hope they discount the Mass Effect add on again as I missed it the last time. All the other DLC I want is recently released so there is no chance of it coming down in price.

The only advise I'll give you is, don't give in to any temptation to cheat, and definitely complete it. :)

Few months I would suggest. Wait for the hardcore to buy at full price (myself included in that), then when sales start to drop, drop the price to catch those who were maybe 50/50.
 
Finally managed to solve the 2nd world(the first level). Simply brilliant :D

It is probably my favourite Arcade game now, edging out Geo Wars 2.
 
I got this for free after entering a comp for some US game awards show.

Well worth 800 points. Ending messes with your head.

It would be a lie to say the story isn't complicated. :p

It's easily one of my top two Arcade games of last year. :) Fantastic gameplay, and it's good to get a game that really makes you think about what your doing, rather than just telling you what to do.

Unlucky. :( I still think you'll get more than your moneys worth though. :)
 
I have an email from MS Billing service saying that I was over charged when I bought Braid. Apparently I paid the full 1200 points for it so they are refunding me the 400 plus giving me an extra 100 points as compensation. I must admit I never even noticed and in hindsight I would happily have paid the full 1200 points for it. Rather nice of them I thought. Any one else encounter this?
 
Just bought this on the PC for a tenner, first impressions are beautiful animation and an utterly sublime soundtrack. It's pretty generic so far however i've heard the first few levels are no where near as good as the rest of the game so i'm not panicked.
