deal or no deal

That Steve Martin lookylikey on Saturday freaked me out. Erk. Glad he lost. Must admit I get a strange sense of 'HA!' when they get all cocky and then lose it all in one round :D

Trust me, you're not alone. Some people you want to win, but others just need to lose so damn bad :D

afaik they film this right near my house.

I might go along to the audience.
Do it - I went a couple of weeks ago, and they're being broadcast on April 8th and 10th, so watch the third row behind the contestant for my idiotic face. It's good fun, but takes a fair while to record, and the seats aren't at all comfortable. But it is free, so you can't really complain.

PS. The banker is real, I've heard him! And Noel is short.

You're my new hero :D

Did you watch it long enough to figure out what was going on? When I first watched it from about half way through I was a bit lost. But once you know what's happening it's much better :)

I actually got what was going on half way through. It's just so slow paced. Give me The Price Is Right anyday! :p

The episode i watched was a few weeks ago with a rather large lady playing. Think she won around £5k. It was to pay for her wedding if I remember correctly (or was it to pay for her dress?)

Fantastic show, we watch it here at work with only subtitles :p

I work in a call centre that has plasma tellies suspended from the ceiling on the top floor and one happens to be about 10 ft from my desk :) Unfortunately as it's a call centre there's no sound on the tellies but they do put the subtitles on.

my dad was once a competition on noels house party, it was done over like 2 or 3 months and whoever won got to work with my dad for a week on a trapeze and the old rocket (a thing which goes round the air in a circus on a wire, with a star (a kind of trapeze) on the bottom.) i still have it on video somewhere, TV used to be so great.... i'm off to watch pocoyo.

How long does it take to film?

Afternoon recording is at 1:45, we got out at 4:30(but the woman did go on a bit, so you'd probably get out sooner). If you go for the evening recording they record two episodes so 4:45 - 9:30 ish. Free food and alcohol too :)
