** DEAR FORUMS **

A lot for what it is but I guess getting stability with that kind of structure and style doesn't come cheap in terms of required engineering.

I'd take one at closer to half the price but I'd struggle to justify the full price unless I had a very pressing need for that functionality specifically.

You will always get some people who are willing to buy it as you already stock the over priced Lian Li desk cases and have sold a few by the looks of things.

Personally I would go for an Ikea hack desk job but other people would prefer an easier option.

True I'm often surprised how some ludicrously expensive hardware sells due to there being a relatively small but wealthy sector that will buy it just because it is expensive :S

As a main PC desk it looks way too small - once you've put a good sized monitor, keyboard and mouse on it there wouldn't be enough space for a cup never mind a steering wheel, and images of this are intentionally (to me) missing from their site.

However, it could be good for those who game on their TV - somewhere to mount a steering wheel and keyboard/mouse for infrequent use. Or perhaps an expensive TV dinner table!

Way too small. I already have 2 desks pushed up next to each other in an L shape. That thing looks like it is half the size of one of my desks.

Also it looks rubbish as just about everything does that is designed for gamers (companies seem to think gamers have never heard the phrases "classy" and "understated" for some reason).

What is the footfall and space in the shop like ? Can you put one in there and not have it get manked up by grubby fingers and casual browsers.

I think anyone looking at one of these would want to see it in the flesh. I doubt you need a huge stock of them - it doesn't look like an impulse purchase to me so you could just order from DX when you get a customer order.

Personally ... wouldn't touch it ... but boring old fart isn't the target market.

The working area is 120cm wide so its not quite as small as the product images make it look - that is about the width from one end of my keyboard to the other end of the mouse mat on my setup and I have a fairly generous amount of room between the keyboard and mouse mat. While that is adequate for say a dedicated gaming rig another 15cm or so wouldn't have gone amiss though for day to day use.

Would be somewhat tempted at a lower price point as I've a somewhat odd shaped space for my PC setup where a single desk doesn't make optimal use and a couple of those in a slight L shape would.

EDIT: Not sure it would work with the slanted bits for hand access - I have my keyboard very close to the edge of the desk so would probably be destabilised by being over the left one.

Aye, to reiterate the above, it looks small. And it looks like something you bring on a caravan holiday. And it's way too expensive. And there's no storage.

Eww that's disgusting.

Can you get some Couchmaster Pros from Germany please. And at a nice price.

Thankyou kindly :)

Steel frames and a plastic shell, For £289!? The desk is wood also so compare it with say Hygen Sun white gloss for £100 and i do not know where they think £289 goes. Im either going to buy another Hygena desk and a Vertagear 2000 or move to the sofa but i doubt a £300 desk is going to be in my plans.
