With DS2 not far off release finally started playing this, got up to episode 3 and spent more time gathering materials and building roads yesterday than I did progressing the story.
 
I also decided to start this last week, however for me it's a 2nd play through. I had forgotten just how many cut scenes are in this - especially at the start. I feel like 3.5 of the first 4 hours are cut scenes lol.

PC release date is still TBD isn't it? Probably another year before it comes to us.
Worth playing now anyway.
 
I'd say so... I played through the original.. But I've got the directors cut to play now.. And I've got a much better pc to play it on so I'll have to get around to it.

The music and graphics and general ambience were superb in the original.
 
Finished it and what an journey this game was (no pun intended) glad I stuck with it as the story is worth it for sure even if the gameplay isn't at times.

Honestly surprised by how well it ran too all the way through without issues either, whatever they've done with their engine really shows.
