Just took the plunge (was skeptical as I already have a g5). Have to say I'm very impressed, the feet of the mouse are so smooth theres no need for any teflon tape, but more importantly, for precision it blows my g5 out of the water!

Been getting noticably better CSS scores with this mouse, it has a higher level of comfort, better tracking with small movements and.. well looks cooler than my old one!

Wonder how it'll compare to the new Diamondback 3g.

I recently done the same thing, and prefer it over the G5 not sure about the shape, but the lack of jerking when playing css on a low sens is great.

I find the most significant improvement is when tracking tiny tiny adjustments, like when your cursor is right next to someones head, its hard to adjust without overshooting (whatever sensitivity on the g5), but much easier on the DA if this is what you mean by jerking I definitely agree.
