Decals - Should I do it?

Alriiiighty then, some 1337 brush skills using a mouse-pad thingy based on the 2010 Merc GP livery...

TAA-DAA!

(oh yeah, the inspiration here.

I suggest spending the money on a nice mole skin hat, or a purple velvet hat. Alternatively just don't spend the money at all.

Also, as you say, you are undecided. As a human that goes outdoors like many here you will no doubt have seen some cars with decals on them. Mostly small, old and, dare I say, rubbish cars. What are your thoughts when you see these? Do you think the decals improve the worsen the look? FReal questions, btw.

It was clean once... honest!

uv - Thats awesome.... i love it, it even suits the car! :p

I think the car height is slightly off, rear springs are slightly too big I suspect, but I dont plan on throwing a ton of money at it to get it exactly right, it drives fine.

In all honesty I think too many people have "bland" cars - they stay the same colour all their lives (the cars, not the people!) and never get any personalisation, except for really expensive stuff. Admittedly, sticking "racing" logos and a bean tin exhaust on a 1.2 Punto is not a good look... but there's a nice white Scooby nearby with proper red decals, and it suits it.

Decided against the full colour strip decal, I think it would clash too much with the paint colour and the big side strip would distort it. Still hunting for something I like in black silhouette.... :D

The only paint/decal I've seen that I've liked is that guy the other day who had an actual shopping list (milk, bread, eggs etc) on his track car :D
