Decent Kit - Can't Use It ? Inexpensive High Quality Solution

In an earlier post I moaned about having a decent amp, big screen and a toddler. Not an ideal mix when you want to turn it up.

Thought about wireless FM headphones, too expensive for decent quality and too many issues.

Thought about Sleek Audio W-1 Kleer but for 2 pairs ? ££K !

Job done, individual volume controls so I can have a movie LOUD.

Also, while teh wife can plug some 'phones in too, she keeps the volume down and keeps an ear out for teh sprog.

Made of win.
 
get a mixer, input the feed from the baby monitor into it with a cut off below certain db and then you can hear bits that are above trigger volume, job done :)

*no idea what kit would be needed for this but it works in my mind :D

Noise gate.

Wife is less expensive and more versatile.
 
Or considering speakers are one of the biggest bits of expensive kit...
