Gone through a few pans in the past few years. Now looking for a decent set, a life time set of pans.

Anyone got any good sites that sell good pans/pots that are built to last? Price around £200.

LeCreuset, will last decades and cost a fortune but they are worth it (if you can lift the damn things.)

We got one for a wedding present, liked it so much we've started adding to it. There are similar own-brand makes like LeCreuset which is just as good, think M&S, John Lewis etc do them.

Difficult to say what is available right now that'll still be decent in 10-20 years but I've got a set of 10 year old Meyer stainless steel ones which are still in very good nick. My mother had a set of Meyer anodised ones which were used daily for 20 years, she only got rid of them because they wouldn't work on an induction hob.

I'm a big fan of LeCreuset style pans but I'm not sure I'd want them for use every day bit on the heavy side and they don't love the dishwasher. We have one that we use for stews and currys etc enything that we make in quantity that takes a lot of cooking!

For everyday pans Analon make some excellent products.

Got Mayer anolon and stellar 6000 both are great.

I do prefer my old anolon ones though, the non reymound blanc ones with the straight handles, still avilable to hard to find.

I've got some nice Stellar pans, got them for a present a couple of years ago and are still really shiny and silver, can see them lasting a long time.

I have one Stellar pan and it's really great. Still looks brand new after 2 years. Pricey though. Can't remember the name of the rest of my saucepans.

Le Creuset pans are brilliant but I only use them for cooking larger meals. If there's one Le Creuset pan you should have it's their wok.

TBH there's not a lot wrong with a good old Tefal non-stick frying pan either.

All Clad are very good. They are used in professional kitchens and on Masterchef :p

Have a lifetime warranty. Oven safe to 420c so can be used on the BBQ.

Either those or 'Le C' as has been mentioned are durable and will last forever with a bit of care.
