Decent pans?

I've a set of 3 Jonelle pans, which are John Lewis' own brand I think. Stainless, thick base, very good for everyday use and clean easily. Even after 8 years they only have a few black marks on the underside of the bottom and are spotless inside.

Le Creuset are good but heavy & expensive. Plus you can easily scratch the insides if you use metal utensils, which is sometimes unavoidable.

Raymond Blanc Analon, Hard anodized Clad is pretty damn good, and its all 30% off in Debenhams atm. Depends what cooker you use to what you want though.

Any premium Meyer is fairly decent though tbh.

Le Bourgeat.

Stainless steel with an aluminium base. Intended for use in professional kitchens and doesn't have the price premium of All Clad or celeb endorsed products of lower quality.

Le Creuset are good but heavy and cast iron is less responsive to heat changes. Stainless isn't so good either, which is why the best ones (All Clad or Le Bourgeat) have aluminium bases (which does conduct heat very well). Copper reacts fastest, but is usually v expensive (but looks great!).

I've had (and still have) Le Creuset, but Le Bougeat pans are more practical.
