mate of mine does nothing but play poker, and needs a new pc for it, last time i posted i think it was the same situation with another mate which i got him to go for what was recommended and he has loved it since, so im afteer the CUK faithful to spec me a good one again...

the basics...

cheap as possible for a decent build, but must be able to run 3 monitors, pretty much just gunna be used for surfing the net and multi table poker on the 3 screens, how are the "this week only" intel builds looking? maybe with an upgrade card?

i will be ordering a 3rd monitor for him tooo, but res is important to him for tabl sizes when playing multiple table, think his cuurrent 2 are dell, 1600x1200, so any recommendations here would be good to save him spending loads on dell branded monitor etc

thanks

If Intel is his preference, this would be suitable. The AMD support Eyefinity which should be fine.

not sure the screen will do with th min res being lower thn 1200 tbh?

If he is strictly looking at 1600x1200, then it'll be a 20/21" monitor, but you may have to get a second hand one. That resolution is for a square monitor not widescreen. I cannot see any non-widescreen's on the OcUK Site, the closest is this:

there's enough there for most to make there mind up it's not worth it.

i use budget monitors and have a few still myself after 5 years of use as they don't seem to want to break, so won't replace them until they do, a Yuraku and Belinea, have has samsung and sony in the past, never had a issue myself with any, but it seems plenty here have
