SNR is a tad low, you're not going to get any more speed out of that line anyway.

Lots of errors. What's the uptime? I think CRC Errors are ones where your modem cannot recover the data in a receive packet and would need to ask for a re transmission. FEC errors I think are ones where the Far End Connection cannot re-assemble your data and asks for a resend. Ideally these sort of uncorrectable errors should be as near to zero as possible.

Interleave depth is high too. Provided you don't play games online this is generally fine.

As said above you are about as fast as the line will go in it's current state. In fact you might be set just a tad too fast for your line as it's introducing errors.

Maybe something like 4.5mbps would be a little more appropriate.

Is your internal wiring good? Have you tried plugging directly to the master socket?

Thanks guys, the modem has dropped out a time or two, and I'm changing it for a Netgear and looking to install the DGteam firmware for a little customisation. it's an ISP provided huwaei(?) at the moment.

Internal wiring is good and recently installed.

Will report back in a few days with the new modem/router

SNR is 4.9db as Line atten is 52db so its been set that low by the exchange to stabilise the connection. 52db is classed as a long line. If your internal wiring is good then you must be some distance from the exchange.
I take it the stats shown are when the router is plugged into the master socket ?
