Hi Guys,

I was looking for a little advice on which Mobo to get to replace a failed ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus

My current set up before the Mobo died was

Q6600
2 x 640MB 8800 GTS in SLI
2GB Corsair DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX
2 x 320GB Caviar SE16 SATA 300 (RAID 0)
Case: SilverStone Temjin
Power Supply: Antec True Power Trio 650W

As ASUS take around 28 Days to do an RMA and the P5N32-E SLI Plus is a hybrid Mobo (The P5N32-E SLI Plus board has a 650i SLI Northbridge married to a 570 SLI Southbridge)

The question is, is there now a better MoBo for a Q6600?

Personally in my system at least the The P5N32-E SLI Plus ran hot, and couldn't find anyway of O/Cing it beyond the stock Q6600 2.4Ghz

As the 8800 GTS effectively take up two slots

I need a Board layout that will still present a PCI slot (If Possible) once my XFi Xtreme Gamer sound card is installed.

I will also be using a Tuniq Tower 120-LFB CPU Cooler (Socket 478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA775)

Any hints or pointers in the right direction would be appreciated

Cheers,

Iser
