Decisions...decisions...

Yeah this was a little bit of a problem with the U2711. It wasn't a major problem but the U2410 is just so much better in that regard when using 'game mode'. I think 'game mode' on the U2711 did pretty much nothing. I just hope the U3011 is more like the U2410 in that respect.

Taken from the review:

Input lag
Measured against a Samsung SyncMaster 975p CRT, and using a Canon 40D set to a shutter speed of 1/320, an average of over 60 photographs were taken using Virtual Stopwatch Pro. Timing actually ended up better than the U2711 at an average of 27ms. Switching to game mode didn't reduce this in any way.

Oh dear. :(

Yeah... Not ideal.

This is one of the main reasons I went for a zr30W.

So then, if you assume that:-

a) Both are readily available in stock.
b) Cost is not an issue.

All things being considered, i.e. performance for some FPS gaming and some semi-pro photographic work etc, would you buy a U2410 or U2711...???

Thanks,
