Decisions, help? advice? - graphics card or monitor upgrade?

On the 780 Ti, I was gaming at 4k on the then current Tomb Raider at a mixture of Medium and High settings. Mainly high IIRC. Not ultra, of course.

I just installed The Witcher 3 and without tuning I'm getting 45-60 fps on its default settings.

witcher 3 gets on average 30-35fps on 1440p so how are you getting 45-60 on 4k?

ah right i was gunna say.
i dont think a 780ti is sufficient for modern games at 4k - unless you can deal with 30-55 fps
