Ok, so the situation is that I have fairly poor internal phone wireing so I am hoping to remove it all and just keep the master socket which I have found to massively increase my Internet speed.
At the minute I have a BT DECT base station in the middle of a fairly long house which I want to get rid of so I can disconnect this phone socket. I have my BT modem at the master socket at one end of the house connected through gigabit networking to a 16 port router, many RJ45 sockets and a Wireless N standard router in the middle of the house.

I am looking for an alternative to DECT phones that work through the existing Wi-Fi network but allow me to make calls through the landline. It is used for business purposes. I know that there are WiFi VoIP solutions on the market but it must work on the landline.

Does anyone use or know of a solution which will work like this?
Thanks

The simplest option would be to plug your DECT base station in at the master socket and then add a DECT repeater(s) if you need additional range.

You could also try using better DECT phones plugged in at the master socket. My Panasonic phones have massive range compared to the BT branded ones my Parents use. Unless you live in a lead lined palace you shouldn’t have a problem getting decent coverage.
