Currently have;
Samsung F1 320gb (OS)
Samsung F1 320gb (Games)
Samsung 1TB (Media Files and backups)

Due to the size of my Steam folder I'm looking and setting myself up for future I'm going to buy another 1TB drive to replace the Games drive.

Part of my decision comes from setting up the 320gb drive on my daughters PC.

So I'm wondering if I should do a straight replacement for the games drive, or will I better off using the new drive for OS and games and selling my other 320gb drive.

I guess what I'm getting at are the new F3's better than the F1's and are there any benefits to having a separate gaming drive. Always believed OS should be on the fastest drive.

Yes, but barely, in real world. IMO you'd be better off keeping your OS drive as is, buying a 1.5TB for storage, and using your 1TB F1 for gaming drive, because it's a fair bit cheaper £/GB for the 1.5TBs over the 1TBs. Do whatever with your other 320.
