Default Mouse DPI Setting

Hey guys,

I have a rather cheap gaming mouse, it has 4 DPI settings (Clear, Red, Blue and Purple) each more sensitive than the last.

When it first boots, the mouse is set to the clear setting then once windows boots, it automatically sets to red.

Since i play on the blue setting, i was wondering if there was a way to change the default setting.

I Use a LX Gaming Mouse, if that helps.

Was there no software provided to determine what preset is used?

No, it just a mouse came in the box, it didn't have a disk for drivers or anything, just used windows drivers.

Is it plainly because its a bit of a crap mouse? Or is there any 3rd party software that could change this?

Change the windows mouse sensitivity in control panel so the default feels useable.

Yeah, but i did want the blue Setting since it matches my keyboard, i know im being picky but still...

Have you tried googling *mouse name* and "driver"?

Its a long shot but you could try the driver for the microsoft sidewinder, aesthetically they're the same.

yeah thats the mouse, i have tried google but there really isn't much about it apart from just sellers, thanks.

Thanks for your help, i tried the microsoft drivers, but they didn't allow the mouse to be used, cheers though.
