I was extremely lucky both times I got #1 due to the fact the arkfalls practically landed next to me 1st time i got the 1st ark crystal to about 1/4 health left on my own that took a lot of dodging, killing and 1 self-revive before the cavalry arrived.

I was doing a mission and came over a hill for my truck to go pop and a mutant Arkfall drop...I got #1 on that with shotfun...

I chose Outlaw on the basis it was an EPIC looking gun...I will admit, I'm not a lover of the shotgun as it's not that powerful compared to my LMG or Laser Gun come healer thingy majig...

I've seen a couple of people rolling around in a truck looking vehicle, much bigger than the Steam pick-up truck, where do I get one? I have drove Cass's truck so I hope it's not just for that mission...
 
Cass' mission truck is the only really big one I've seen. Mind you, you can drive around in that as much as you like until you trigger the section of mission where she takes it back.
 
Anyone know how to change windowed mode size? It just seems to randomly pick at the moment and I want it to stay at a specific resolution when in windowed mode.
 
Theres different ones, theres mutant wave killing ones, human type ones, robot type ones, ghostly type ones, although only seen that once, floaty type spirit things.

Yeah, once you've done one they're all the same aside from some very minor things like, the boss you shoot it's eyes, or armpits, or something :|.
There's absolutely no replayability in doing them, it's a maddening grind.
 
Do side missions before the main missions.

Side missions are a small ! on the radar main missions are a big ! on the radar.

That will make life easier for you when you go to do the main missions.

Prioritise doing arkfalls, these appear as a red icon on the hud, looks a bit like a steering wheel.

On group missions if you're finding it hard hang around until some other players show up.

Coolio, hope to be shooting and blowing lots of things up :D Is it true what people say that there is a mix of borderlands loot style in it?
 
Yeah it's what Borderlands would have been on a larger scale. It's a lot of fun, it can get a bit samey at times but that's the same in every game.
