After a false start last year I'm definitely upgrading now. Decided on a Zalman Z9 USB 3.0 case, but can't find what size of cooler can go in it. Going for an I5 3570K and want to overclock it as far as it goes. What would you guys recommend?

Thanks

If you're wanting to "overclock it as far as it goes" it sounds like you may be wanting to get a liquid cooling unit.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Hydro H60 V2 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (Socket LGA2011 / 1366 / 1155 / 1156 / 775 / AM2 / AM3) £59.99
Total : £69.89 (includes shipping : £8.25).

Or you could go for this beast:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler (Socket 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / FM1 / FM2) £62.98
Total : £72.88 (includes shipping : £8.25).

The Noctua NH-D14 is considered to be one of the best air coolers around. It just about fits into the Zalman Z9

You need the "K" to overclock. The 612S is 163mm and definately fits the case. A 19pin header adapter for the USB3 ports on the mobo would be a wise purchase with the case. This SSD is cheaper and with a firmware update it's a great alternative to the 840 Pro.

thanks, yeah sorry I meant to add the 3570k to my basket. Obviously in too much of a rush and picked the wrong one!

Been in a bit of a dilemma about the drive. Originally when I was looking last year the Samsung 830 seemed to be the one to have, that's why I chose the 840 pro in the end to get the best performance. Had been looking at Corsair Neutron GTX and OCZ Vertex 4 as well. Is there much of an issue now with different controllers? Surely everything has had time to mature so there shouldn't be the same problems now as there seemed to be with ssd's a couple of years ago?
