Defrag freezing

Hi,

I after some help with a problem I have been having when trying to defrag the hard drive.

I am using Defraggler which is running on Vista.

I have used Defraggler fine on my other computers but when ever I try and use it on one, it seems to freeze at 37% and not continue.
I have tried leaving it on all night and it was still stuck at 37%.

It still looks as though it is working as it still changes what files is currently being changed but the percentage does not change.

Any ideas?

I haven't got WinZip to download JKDefrag and I don't want to download a trial version.

Is there any others or any reasons why Defraggler does not work? It works fine on all my other machines, that's why I'm unsure whats wrong

Then get 7-Zip, an open-source compression software.

Vista has the ability to unzip .zip files built in - no need for Winzip or any other software.

use faster defrag software like vopt
