Defrag my media drive?

Is there any point? My 1TB media drive (85% full) is 6% fragged and will apparently take 11 hours to defrag. All it is used for is accessing large files quite slowly and so has never had any problems, is there any point in defragging it?

if its only single user access then not really worth defragging. but on my media server when i got 4 or 5 machines streaming simultaneously from the it helps to have it it defragged so it doesnt cause buffering issues for people.

I do mine every few weeks

This is what I do..

Delete all non-required files
Empty Recycle Bin
Run 'Defraggler' on it
-Don't use any files on the drive whilst it's doing it

you do know you dont have to sit and watch it defrag???

hit defrag in the evening when you finish using the machine leave it on over night..
