Defragging a RAID 0 setup

I once read (on this forum) that you shouldn't really defrag a RAID 0 setup as it'll make no performance increase or may even reduce performance.

I trust I mis-read/this isn't true?

Myth, you have to defrag any Windows install Single or Raid, if you dont want to defrag use a Mac.

As far as Windows is concerned its 1 HDD because its done at a hardware level before Windows is installed, just that most files are split between drives (depending on size you Stripe to)
