Degree Completion

I believe my certificate has a date on it... although it's currently in the safe so a hassle to get to. If yours is the same, I guess a year from this date.

I'd say it was 3. end of academic year. As I see it, you are enrolled in the University until the end of the final term. After this date, the academic year has ended and as you aren't enrolled for the next year you have left the University.

Although as others have pointed out, best way might be to ask them... but if you really don't want to then at least options 2,3,4,5 probably fall within a month of each other so you won't waste too much time just by waiting until a year after the last date.

bet you its from certificate date, all our qualifications are based that way, i.e we can get a pay rise based on a certain certificate but can only claim it from the date its awarded, so if the assessor sits on it for 3 months you lose out on the cash.

For some reason i think its when you "pay the final Bills/ Outstanding balances" or are cleared by the finance department If that applies.

When i did my degree it was still free, but i do remember being told it was very important to get that step sorted. :P

Probably not...

The end of the year was June at my undergrad but I graduated at the end of September. For my second degree the end of the year was September and I graduated the next September.

Worth checking the contract? If it just says completion then I'm not sure they could hold you to anything if you choose a reasonable one. Personally I'd say end of the academic year, which is usually when all your student perks and cards run out.
