Dein leaves with immediate effect

I really hope we dont get taken over, arsenal have been like a london family business for years :(

I know a fair bit about the colorado avalanche NHL team who kronke owns, they spend big to achieve big, very much in the chelsea vein, spending money on high profile transfers, trading youth prospects to land veterans in their prime for a few years to achieve short term success.

I cant really fault his teams successes, i'm just not sure how his business model will transfer to football.

Sad to see DD go, but if he was in favour of selling out then its probably for the best.

I just hope Wenger stays, he has a close relationship with Dein.

Don't know how I feel about a takeover to be honest. We don't need to make the massive 20/30/40m buys and we all know that our younger players are going to be formidable (Nicklas Bendtner will hopefully get a look in next term).

if any of you don't read *best arsenal blog which i'm not allowed to link to* then i'd recommend having a look today, very good discussion on DD's departure without any of the media sensationalism thats been thrown around this morning.

Forgot about that :o i agree with his conclusion today, if Dein sells his shares to Kroenke and then returns to the board as his representative then it'll show that DD really doesn't have arsenals best interests at heart.

I doubt we've seen the end of this story to be honest, i hope it doesn't get nasty because we could do without hostile takeovers and board room troubles. I don't see why these american investors see the need to barge in and take clubs by force, if they did the honorable thing and spoke to the board and discussed it they'd be much more appreciated by the fans.

and he's now chairman of the company who owns the shares! Nice bit of having your cake and eating it.

They were speculating on the radio if these shareholders ask for a board member this is Deins way back in especially if they buy that American bloke (also a mate of Deins!) shares as well.
