You don't need a kill coil. XT1 has corrosion inhibitors and biocide already in it. That's the reason I have gone with it.

Using only Deionized with a few kill coils here, been going a few months now and no problems.
Well corrosion doesn't usually happen overnight.
no but thats when i have the option to change, so i see how i feel the temps are. and how it looks
