Deja-Vu

I get it about once every two months and it can be quite freaky.
I'll turn to people and say 'We've had this very same conversation in this same place before' and of course they think I'm mad.

Use 2 have quite a lot when I was a kid. not so frequent know. extremely mild brain disorder/confusion is the most recent explanation.

A Deja vu is when the two sides of the brain are out of sync by a matter of microseconds. It only happens for very short periods of time as well before the synchronisation is back to normal. Because of this lag on one side of the brain, what you might see in one instant is instantly in short term memory, and then the other side of the brain registers the same occurance. But because it is already in memory, it seems like it has happened to you before. Hence you can remember the scene in a Deja vu very well.

That is what i have heard :)

lol at some of these posts.

Yeah, I do actually have them quite often. Quite scary actually. I sometimes think the previous time was a dream.

That's very interesting woodsy.

Happy to be of service mate :)

It can happen for a number of reasons.

99% of the time it is really nothing to worry about, people get it for many reason. stress can be attributed to just about anything with the body, so its possible that can cause them, being a teenager can be a reason, etc etc.

Nothing to be scared off :D

I used to get them as well, and no i have grown out of them. dont get them any more (touch wood hehehe)

It is also to do with the temperal lobes apparently. The thing is, there is not enough known on them to know exactly what causes them, but the general jist is accepted.

My bad dude, wasnt my intention. :)

I was only kidding :)

If I wasn't so lazy, I'd have Googled it and given a proper answer but as usual I just rattled out some half-arsed attempt based on my seemingly endless store of random, useless, incomplete information :o

At least I was on the right track for a change :D

Stan :)
