slap all your loans into which ever type of decent intrest savings account you fancy and live in your intrest free overdraft, might not give you loads of cash back but at the end of the day and money is good

You won't earn that much interest in a single year or whatever though?
like i said not great returns but enough for a few nights out for no effort,
the only way to make a decent return is by taking risks which could put you in a pretty rough position

Just spend it and have a good time, any money you make is going to be minimal and a waste of time that could be spent partying. If you want more money get a job.

Call it jealousy or whatever you want, but people like you really annoy me. I'm finding it harder then you can imagine to just find pennies to pay my bills and here you are talking about throwing your student loan on an ISA!

You don't deserve a loan.

Halifax web saver - 5.5% interest, max out the loan, if you don't spend the loan then that is a free ~£750.00 when you graduate :)

I agree with that

I invested 9000 in loans over the 3 year period while studying its grown by about 47% since i put it in and have added to it since i got my job, haven't had to start paying it back yet

For money per hour, casino bonus bagging exceeds any crappy mcdonalds job you are likely to get as a student and is nowhere near as risky as it sounds and you don't have to shove all your money into an account where you can't get to it

I've only taken out a maintenance loan and will actually be using it to live off. I'll still shove it in my HSBC flexsaver account though, and shift whatever I need to my current account as I need it.

I think some people like to put their grants into an ISA so they get some interest off it. Don't know of any 'riskier' avenues though.

:)
Which is silly. I earn under the tax threshold limits so I earn more money in a high interest online savings account than I would in an ISA.
